Signs I may be working once again

I woke up this morning thinking about a couple of things:

1. The freelance and census work I have to do today, and:
2. The fact that I haven’t made a blog post in a week/this month.

So the fact that I woke up thinking about going to work — instead of thinking about lacking work or finding work — is a sign that I may be employed once again.

Here’s some other signs that I may be working once again:

• When I wake up, look out my window, and see a beautiful day, I think: “Great! It’s a good day to go out and take the Census!”
• I’m only checking Facebook one or two times during the day instead of … way too many times.
• I have early morning meetings with census supervisors, and emails from freelance clients.
• I haven’t watched the Martha Stewart show in two weeks — and I couldn’t be happier about that.

It may be too early to change the name of this blog to “What’s So Funny About (Un) Employment?” But we’ll see. 😉
